AH CA IRA coaxed from the gate, advanced after the start to duel inside of MOON GATE from six furlongs out down the backstretch and through the turn coming under encouragement with five-sixteenths to run, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, rebuffed her main pace rival and edged away through the final furlong kept to task to prevail. MOON GATE stumbled at the break and veered in when recovering beginning a chain of bumps when bumping AMITY ISLAND into SANTAGATA in through to DOLCE SERA, led early on and then got engaged in a duel with the aforementioned to her inside while four then three wide, swung four wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive and was repelled through the final furlong while clear for the place honors. DOLCE SERA got bumped in the hind end and knocked askew by SHE'S COMPLICATED due to pressure from MOON GATE, chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under urging at the five-sixteenths marker, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, kept on to secure the show honors. SANTAGATA got bumped at the break by AMITY ISLAND due to pressure from MOON GATE and in turn bumped SHE'S COMPLICATED, chased six paths off the rail down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn ridden along from the seven-sixteenths pole, tipped five wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. MOONLIT WEEKEND chased four to five paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked three wide through the turn coming under urging three furlongs out, went eight wide into upper stretch and weakened. SHE'S COMPLICATED got bumped at the start by SANTAGATA due to pressure from MOON GATE and in turn bumped the hind end of DOLCE SERA, chased three then two wide under a ride from midway on the turn, spun three wide for home and weakened. AMITY ISLAND got bumped at the start by MOON GATE recovering inwards from a stumble and in turn bumped SANTAGATA, chased along the inside under prolonged encouragement from the half mile pole, cornered three wide at the head of the lane and made no impact. GREGORIAN SOLO took the overland route eight paths off the rail down the backstretch and then six wide through the turn, went nine wide at the top of the stretch, made no impact.
