Footnotes
MISS JANE HATHAWAY soon led, set the tempo from off the rail, was clear in upper stretch, held sway while being kept busy to the end. GARDEN OF GRACE got away well under urging but was outsprinted early dropping back, stalked in behind three wide into the turn, moved out six wide at the top of the stretch, kept on in the lane but was only second best. JULIET ON APPROACH shifted in up the backstretch tracking inside and in behind the leader on the turn, angled out near the three-sixteenths for room bumping a rival in the process, ran on and saved show. PATIENCE N GRACE unhurriedly brought up the rear racing off the inside in about the three path heading into the turn, swung seven wide into upper stretch, lugged out a bit at that point, ran on but missed third. OUR PREFERRED PAL settled off the pace, took closer order in behind just off the rail coming to the quarter pole but found no where to go, shifted in near the three-sixteenths for room but failed to rally. KAZ FARM GIRL broke outwardly, stalked up close three to four wide heading into and on the turn, was bumped at the three-sixteenths, dropped back and faded.
