Footnotes
MO FOR THE KING settled into stride off the pace shifting in up the backstretch, advanced from the two path early on the turn moving out four wide passing the quarter pole, swept to the lead at the top of the stretch, responded well to draw off then was eased up late. APOLLO CODE settled mid-division racing two to three wide into the turn, came out six wide turning for home, ran on outside rivals to get up for place. CAPT JAX PARROW lacked early speed, advanced inside on the turn, angled five wide in upper stretch, kept on well, was outkicked for the place but just secured show honors late. FRIC AND FRAC was prominent between foes early then dueled outside a rival at a swift tempo, took a narrow brief lead late on the turn, was engulfed by the winner, kept on but was outkicked for the minor awards. JOE WEST was outpaced racing off the inside part of the track and never got near enough to threaten. NEW YORK SCRAPPY was urged from the start, dueled inside, weakened turning into upper stretch, switched out off the inside, continued to fade thereafter. PANDEMIC HERO showed brief speed among and outside the leading pair then chased those dueling leaders three to four wide, floated seven wide into the stretch, faded.
