BACKSTREETS was coaxed along in second position, gained on the leader in the three path on the turn, made a bid at the five-sixteenths pole, took the advantage approaching the quarter-pole, dropped to the two path while going clear into upper stretch, was put to a right-handed crop outside the furlong marker and drew away under steady urging. LIAM'S DIVA was off slow and spotted the front a few lengths, angled in with five furlongs to run, gained along the rail on the turn, made a bid inside of two foes at the quarter-pole, lost touch with the winner in upper stretch, moved out outside the furlong marker and proved no match while able to safely secure second. BEAU HILL veered in at the start then was corrected with a strong tug of the right rein while off slow, spotted the front a few lengths, dropped well behind under urging, rounded the turn in the two path, drifted out outside the furlong marker and failed to threaten. HOLLY LN went to the front then opened up a sizable advantage, traveled around the turn in the two path, was asked under threat at the five-sixteenths pole, lost the advantage while between horses coming to the quarter-pole, dropped back then shifted to the three path into the stretch and tired.
