Footnotes
TWENTY FOUR MAMBA soon led, dictated terms just in the clear and off the rail, floated out a bit leaving the turn, was asked at the three-sixteenths, responded and opened up. TUSKEGEE AIRMEN was taken back and rated early racing outside, received some encouragement at the half, went four then five wide on the turn, shifted in a bit in upper stretch, was no match for the winner. TREATY OBLIGATION bumped a rival lightly while strongly urged from the break, was in close pursuit from outside three to four wide on the turn, ran on but needed more. THREE TECHNIQUE was lightly bumped soon after the start, settled between foes at the rear, shifted out four wide coming to the three-eighths and in range, flattened out. BIG HAT WILLIE was lightly bumped into a rival just after the start, moved forward between to give brief chase, dropped back and faded. BERMUDA BLITZ wasn't far off the leaders tracking inside on or just off the rail, was empty for the drive.
