THREE LITTLE BIRDS was coaxed forward and prominent early along the inside then taken back after the opening three-sixteenths, moved out and came to the quarter pole five wide advancing on the leaders, edged past late after a long drive. MIDDLE MARKET broke outwardly but alertly, set the pace off the rail then nearer the inside into the turn, was challenged by the rest of the field in the stretch, fought on but was simply outfinished while battling on to get the nod for place. MOMENT'S NOTICE was urged at the start, forced in and in a bit tight early, switched out and chased in behind and outside the leader, took closer order into the turn and was ridden along by the three-eighths in contention two to three wide between foes, bid in mid-stretch putting a nose in front briefly, kept on in the stretch but was not enough. LEAN MUSIC MACHINE switched out early, advanced outside going three to four wide on the turn and in range, was outkicked.
