Footnotes
BLENHEIM BABY showed speed then moved in near the three-quarter pole, stalked the pace on the outside, turned up the pressure in the two to three path on the turn, took the advantage while asked into the stretch then kicked clear and drew away under steady urging to prove much the best. HEAVENS LEE moved out just inside the three-quarter pole, was urged along passing the nine-sixteenths pole, chased in the three to four path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and safely secured the place while no match for the winner. CHURNING BERNI raced just off the pace, chased inside on the turn, spun into upper stretch off the inside, chased into the final furlong then moved out and lacked the needed response while able to get the show. MIA NIPOTINA was urged along at the rear, angled in early on the backstretch, went around the turn in the two then three path, turned into the stretch in the four path and failed to rally. FURRY FOX went to the front, moved with six furlongs to run, was asked while inside to the two path on the turn, lost the advantage into the stretch and tired. CHA CHA WREN was urged along on the outside, moved in late on the backstretch, saved ground on the turn and failed to respond.
