BIG DIG went around the first turn in the two to three path, was rated on the outside, ranged up to make a bid late on the backstretch, vied in the four path on the far turn, took the lead while asked at the top of the stretch, responded well while battling with the runner-up in the drive and proved best under strong urging. PAM PAM was hustled from the gate, raced in the two path on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside of the leader, took the advantage with a half-mile to run, was roused in the two path on the far turn, lost the advantage to the winner at the quarter-pole, fought on well with that foe in the stretch but missed while clear for the place. ROYAL BOBBIE was last to commence, rounded the first turn in the two path, settled at the rear, was urged along in the three then four path on the far turn, spun into the stretch in the five path and improved well out in the track for the show. HIGHER FORCE was hustled from the gate, traveled around the first turn in the three path, tracked the pace on the outside, was urged along passing the nine-sixteenths pole, made a bid with a half-mile to run, vied in the three path under urging while between foes on the far turn, dropped back late on that bend and tired. RACING COLORS settled on the inside, dropped back with five furlongs to run, moved from the rail to the three path on the far turn and failed to threaten. LUCKFORYOU was sent hard to the front, showed the way on the inside, lost the lead under urging late on the backstretch and stopped then was eased in the final furlong but walked off.
