FORT NELSON coaxed from the gate, held narrow command briefly when forwardly placed early on, chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn coming under coaxing midway, spun two to three wide for home, rallied to take command just inside the eighth pole, inched away to the finish kept to task. WHISKEY N SODA chased along the rail down the backstretch before steadily tipping out into the turn to be four wide when placed to urging with seven-sixteenths remaining, angled six wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick. COCKTAILSNKRINGLE chased three then two wide coming under a ride nearing the five-sixteenths marker, angled four to five wide into upper stretch, ran on to the wire. CARVELLIAN QUEST coaxed from the gate, tussled briefly for command before establishing the front inside six furlongs to run, showed the way in hand just off the inside, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and took the inside route into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was collared just inside the eighth pole, weakened in the late stages.
