INDY RAGS coaxed from the gate, raced just off the inside through the first turn before settling four paths off the inside down the backstretch in closest aim of the leader, tucked to the two path into the far turn and advanced on that rival taking command nearing the five-sixteenths marker, got headed near the quarter pole and swung four wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive head to head getting carried in by COME TO PAPA a path when taking narrow command a furlong from home, dueled through to the finish and gamely prevailed on the wire. COME TO PAPA coaxed from the start, raced three wide through the first turn, chased five paths off the rail down the backstretch and then three wide through the far turn coming under coaxing near the quarter pole when taking command, swung five wide for home, dug in under a drive coming in under a right handed crop and carrying in the top one when headed for the front, came in once more near the sixteenth marker this time closing a gap between himself and the top one and fought on to the finish but was ultimately denied at the end. MILITARY ROAD showed the way in hand along the inside coming under light coaxing at the seven-sixteenths pole, yielded the front nearing the five-sixteenths, took the inside route into upper stretch and kept on to the finish. GOOD SKATE stumbled at the start, chased along the inside and then just off the inside under urging with seven-sixteenths to go, swung four to five wide for home in hand, trailed, and was eased home through the stretch to the wire.
