BEST IMPRESSION got brushed at the start by MY FIRST LOVE, who broke out a step, chased four wide advancing from three furlongs out to knock heads with MISS LAO through the latter portion of the turn taking narrow command spinning three wide into upper stretch when roused for the drive, drew clear under a drive to prevail. OPEN SOUL AUTISM chased just off the inside under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, angled five wide into upper stretch, altered out three to four paths when MISS LAO angled and then shied out in front at the eighth pole, had that rival shy out once more nearing the sixteenth marker, ran on and was up for the place honors in the final jump despite it. MISS LAO coaxed from the start, raced three wide in closest aim of the leader advancing to take command nearing the five-sixteenths marker, got collared just outside the quarter pole and spun just off the inside into upper stretch, angled out when the leader took to the two path nearing the eighth pole, came out two paths then shied when briefly shown the crop in the left hand two additional paths forcing OPEN SOUL AUTISM to alter out three paths, came under a left handed crop nearing the sixteenth pole once more and shied out a path, then kept on to the finish and was nailed for the place honors on the wire while clear for the show. MY FIRST LOVE broke out a step at the start brushing BEST IMPRESSION, chased briefly three paths off the inside until tucked to the rail advanced mildly into contention before dropping back into the turn, came under urging with seven-sixteenths to go, angled six to seven wide into upper stretch and weakened. MAGGIE T coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand just off the inside coming under coaxing midway on the turn under threat, yielded the front near the five-sixteenths marker and spun three wide into upper stretch, folded and was eased home to the finish.
