FIRST BLESSING coaxed from the gate, prompted the leader from the outside three wide advancing to take command inside the five-sixteenths, swung four wide into upper stretch, dug in under challenge to the outside, rebuffed that rival to edged clear in the late stages and prevail. NEIGH BABY was unprepared for the break when the latch was sprung and got away last shying outwards and conceding four to five lengths to the front before settling into stride, chased three then four wide coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths and advanced through the latter portion of the turn angling six to seven wide into upper stretch, rallied to issue a challenge a furlong out, got repelled by the top one when unable to sustain the bid and was along clear for the place honors. WAITIN'ONASUNNYDAY broke in at the start bumping MOON ON FIRE into IRISH CRAIC, showed the way in hand just off the inside under some pressure, came under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, yielded the front inside that station and spun two to three wide for home, weakened in the late stages. KAZ BRIO chased along the inside under a ride from the five-sixteenths marker, continued in the inside route into upper stretch and weakened. MOON ON FIRE got bumped at the start by WAITIN'ONASUNNYDAY and in turn bumped IRISH CRAIC, chased three then two wide under a ride from three furlongs out, tipped four wide for home and tired. DIXIE HEX broke out at the start, chased four wide coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, angled six to seven wide into upper stretch, tired. IRISH CRAIC bobbled at the break and then got bumped by MOON ON FIRE, chased along the inside and then just off the inside under urging with seven-sixteenths to run, angled four wide into upper stretch, tired, and was eased home to the wire.
