INEFFICIENCY followed the solo leader from second, gained on that foe late on the backstretch, made a bid at the seven-sixteenths pole, took the lead in the three path coming to the three-eighths pole, was asked coming to the quarter-pole then shook clear in upper stretch, was given one light tap of a left-handed crop inside the furlong marker and drew away under a solid hand-ride to prove much the best. FILLY FREEDOM broke a bit awkwardly, settled off the pace, moved closer late on the backstretch, chased in the two path for most of the turn then shifted to the three path, turned into upper stretch under a drive then moved out some and narrowly earned the place while no match for the winner. METFARDEH settled on the outside, was urged along passing the five-eighths pole, gained late on the backstretch, made a bid in the four path midway through the turn, dropped to the three path later on that bend, lost touch with the winner in upper stretch and proved no match then just lost the place but narrowly earned the show. BRUNCH WITH AMY was hustled to the lead then showed the way with a clear advantage, vied inside while challenged early on the turn, lost the lead before the three-eighths pole, dropped back outside the quarter-pole then retreated further back into upper stretch, swapped back to her inside lead inside the furlong marker and just missed the trifecta. I'M BUZZY settled at the rear, was urged along late on the backstretch, came under stronger encouragement in the three path on the turn, moved out under a drive in upper stretch and failed to rally.
