BRAMITO had a shoe repaired in the paddock, angled in while settling at the rear of the field, moved from the rail to the three path while roused on the turn, rallied in the seven path into upper stretch, closed well on the outside to make a bid near the furlong marker, was carried out some shortly thereafter, gained the advantage coming to the sixteenth-pole then edged clear under good handling in the center of the track. IGNITE THE LIGHT moved out early then was rated on the outside, was let out near the seven-sixteenths pole, ranged up to make a bid in the three then four path on the turn, took the advantage in the six path near the three-sixteenths, led under a drive into the final furlong then drifted out and was overtaken while clear for the place. BARTLETT showed speed on the inside of a rival while taken under restraint, dropped back then switched out entering the main-track, stalked the pace on the outside, drew even with the leader in the two to three path on the turn, dropped back under a drive into the final furlong and weakened. LIGHT THE WAY stumbled at the start but broke with the field, angled in while going to the front then showed the way, was asked near the seven-sixteenths pole, vied inside to the two path on the turn, lost the advantage in upper stretch and gave way.
