POINT OF REFERENCE coaxed from the gate, raced five paths off the inside in aim of the leader down the backstretch, tucked three wide through the turn and advanced to take command with five-sixteenths to go, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, edged away under a drive to prevail. IRRESISTIBLE coaxed from the start, chased four then three wide patiently handled until set down angled five to six wide into upper stretch, ran on to chase the winner home well clear of the rest and along second best. MOONLIT chased five to six paths off the rail down the backstretch, tucked four wide through the turn urged along from three furlongs out, went three to four wide at the head of the stretch and weakened. ALMA'S LAW got bumped at the break by COLLECTIVE BARGAIN, who broke outwards, attended that rival to the outside three then two wide between foes and came under coaxing at the three-eighths pole, spun three wide for home, tired in the stretch. COLLECTIVE BARGAIN broke out at the break bumping ALMA'S LAW, established the front inside seven furlongs to run and showed the way in hand along the inside under close watch from a pair to the outside, got placed to a ride midway on the turn, yielded the front with five-sixteenths to go, continued in the inside route into upper stretch and folded.
