PEEK coaxed from the gate, chased four then three wide coming under a ride at the five-sixteenths marker, swung four wide into upper stretch, took over command with three-sixteenths to go and edged clear under a drive to prevail. J J'S RANGER coaxed from the start, dueled three then two wide with DR. MERCILESS to his inside, shook off that rival inside the half mile pole and came under encouragement with five-sixteenths to go under challenge from the top one, spun two to three wide into upper stretch, got displaced from command with three-sixteenths to run and kept on to secure the place honors. LOTSA TROUBLE broke a half a length slow and was bumped at the start by SHOOTERSGOTTASHOOT, chased three then two wide coming under coaxing at the three-eighths pole, swung three to four wide into upper stretch and kicked on belatedly to the finish. LIFE AND LIGHT coaxed from the gate, chased just off the inside under a ride from three furlongs out, went seven wide into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. FARM TEAM chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn coaxed along from midway, angled seven to eight wide into upper stretch, weakened. SHOOTERSGOTTASHOOT broke out at the start bumping LOTSA TROUBLE, chased along the inside early on until tipped briefly to the two path before tipping out once more three to four paths off the rail near the half mile pole, went three wide through the turn ridden along from the seven-sixteenths marker, angled six wide at the head of the stretch and made no impact. FLAT ON chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn coaxed along from three furlongs out, tipped five wide into upper stretch, tired. DR. MERCILESS stumbled at the break and came under brief hustling to duel inside of J J'S RANGER down the backstretch, got shaken off inside the half mile pole and came under a drive with seven-sixteenths to go, faded through the latter portion of the turn and went just off the inside into upper stretch, then faltered in the stretch.
