ALWAYS A RUNNER broke in at the start bumping PARADISE, chased along the inside through the first turn and then just off the inside down the backstretch before making her way back to the rail with five furlongs to go, came under encouragement at the three-eighths marker, angled out six to seven wide into upper stretch, rallied to engage the leader inside the final furlong, latched on inside the sixteenth pole and skipped over some tracks when taking command forty yards from home, then edged away in the shadow of the wire to prevail. PASHMINA established the front four wide into the first turn, tucked three wide then two wide before settling just off the inside into the backstretch in hand and into a comfortable rhythm, set moderate splits patiently handled until coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, swung four wide into upper stretch and remained clear to the eighth pole before coming under lone growing threat to the outside, dug in under a right handed crop and shied in just outside the sixteenth marker, got corrected under a left handed crop, hopped tracks under challenge forty yards from home when collared for the front, ran on willingly to the finish well clear of the rest for the place honors. PARADISE got bumped at the start by ALWAYS A RUNNER breaking inwards, chased just off the inside under a ride from three furlongs out, angled five to six wide into upper stretch and weakened while along for the show honors. NYCON just off the inside through the first turn, chased four then three wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, weakened. TWO BITS broke out at the start brushing BAFFLE, raced three then two wide through the first turn, chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch and remained five wide through the far turn ridden along from the seven-sixteenths marker, tipped six to seven wide for home and weakened in the stretch. SLOW KARA two to three wide through the first turn, chased three wide under prolonged encouragement from the half mile pole, tipped four wide into upper stretch and tired. BAFFLE broke a half a beat slow and was brushed at the break by TWO BITS, chased along the inside and then briefly just off the inside before tipping out five wide inside three furlongs to run, continued five wide into upper stretch and made no impact. VICTORY HALL bobbled at the start, raced five wide into the first turn before tucking four then three wide midway, chased three to four wide in close aim of the leader, faded inside the three-eighths marker and went nine wide into upper stretch, then got eased home through to the finish.
