YO DADDY raced just off the inside through the first turn before settling three to four paths off the rail down the backstretch, continued three to four wide through the far turn coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths and advancing to stack outside the top pair, swung five wide into upper stretch and seized command with three-sixteenths to go, then edged clear under a drive to prevail. INTERCEPTOR coaxed from the gate, had CLASSICIST come inwards and shied in slightly bumping OMAHA OMAHA after the break, raced just off the inside in aim of the leader, tucked inside at the half mile pole and advanced to take narrow command seven-sixteenths out, vied inside a pair to the five-sixteenths when shaking off the former leader and was confronted by the top one and vied inside a pair of rivals once more through the latter portion of the turn into upper stretch, swung two to three wide at that juncture, got headed for the front with three-sixteenths remaining, tipped out a path inside the eighth pole and ran on to chase the winner home well clear of the rest for the place honors. CLASSICIST coaxed from the start, raced just off the inside through the first turn before tipping four paths off the inside down the backstretch settling in closest aim of the leader, tucked three wide half a mile from home advancing to vie outside a pair to the five-sixteenths and then between foes from that station to the quarter pole when OTELLO backed out and YO DADDY ranged up outside, swung four wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive weakening in the late stages, then had the rider lose the crop from his right hand with seventy yards to the finish. STOWAWAY struck the off side stall at the start, chased along the inside through the first turn before chasing three then two wide coming under encouragement with seven-sixteenths to run, angled five wide at the top of the stretch and weakened. OTELLO established the front from the get go and showed the way three paths off the rail hopping tracks left on the course under the wire the first time with nine furlongs to run, tucked to the two path through the first turn before tipping back three wide down the backstretch under close watch from a flanking pair of foes albeit applying little pressure save through their presence early on, had that pair of rivals advance into the far turn and vied between them displaced from command at the seven-sixteenths marker, got shaken off with five-sixteenths to run, took the inside route into upper stretch and tired. OMAHA OMAHA got bumped after the start by INTERCEPTOR, raced just off the inside through the first turn and then four then three wide thereafter, angled four to five wide into upper stretch and gave way.
