POINT DUME was hustled to the front, showed the way on the inside of a foe, was asked along the rail under heavy threat early on the turn, spun into the stretch under the crop in the two path, drifted out near the eighth-pole, responded well while battling inside of the runner-up in the final furlong, drifted out a bit more in the process and turned back that foe to prevail under strong urging. BOOK'EM DANNO bumped with a foe just after the start, raced just off the pace, moved from the rail to the two path while roused early on the turn then chased, shifted to the three path late on that bend, gained in the four path into the stretch, made a bid near the three-sixteenths pole, battled outside of the winner into the final sixteenth, was carried out slightly late then turned away while able to get the place. BE YOU dropped back then settled at the rear, was roused late on the backstretch, chased while angling from the two path to the five path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the six path, chased the top two while outside in the drive and willingly earned the show. RATED BY MERIT broke out at the start, tracked the pace on the outside, chased in the three then four path on the turn, was driven into the stretch in the five path, remained on his inside lead until outside the eighth-pole then swapped to the proper lead, dropped back into the final furlong, swapped leads back and forth in the vicinity of the sixteenth-pole then moved in and lacked the needed kick. ACOUSTIC AVE bumped with a foe just after the start, pressed the pace on the outside, vied in the two path while asked on the turn, turned into upper stretch on even terms for the lead, dropped back into the final furlong and tired.
