INCENTIVE PAY broke out at the start bumping PAIR OF SOCKS, chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn given a notch to work with nearing the five-sixteenths, advanced on the front to take command swinging five wide into upper stretch, drifted out under an active left hand straightened away and came under a correcting right handed crop, then edged away under a drive kept busy to the end. BOLD STRENGTH settled in the three path briefly before being bumped by PAIR OF SOCKS to the four path and in turn nudged TRUST FUND out to the five path six furlongs from home, chased four then three wide in closest aim of the leader and advanced to take command with three furlongs to go, swung four then three wide into upper stretch displaced from the front, ran on willingly to the finish clear of the rest for the place honors. PAIR OF SOCKS got bumped at the start by INCENTIVE PAY, who broke outwards, chased briefly just off the inside before tipping three wide when the leader took over the two path in front, bumped BOLD STRENGTH to the four path and TRUST FUND in turn to the five path six furlongs from home, chased three then two wide coming under urging midway on the turn, angled five wide into upper stretch and kicked on belatedly for the show honors. TRUST FUND four paths off the inside early on, got bumped five wide by BOLD STRENGTH due to pressure from PAIR OF SOCKS at the three-quarters marker, chased five then three wide coming under a ride at the three-eighths pole, angled six to seven wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. SANSONE chased along the inside under encouragement from three furlongs out, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and weakened. AMBITION broke out brushing the off side stall and then brushed COOL ANDY, chased seven paths off the inside down the backstretch until darting to the inside near the half mile pole, continued along the inside through the turn before angling six wide into upper stretch, then tired through to the finish. COOL ANDY got brushed at the break by AMBITION, showed the way in hand from the two path coming under coaxing with seven-sixteenths to go under pressure to the outside, yielded the front at the three-eighths marker, faded and went two to three wide at the head of the stretch and tired.
