SNIDE coaxed from the gate, established the front nearing the six furlong marker and showed the way in hand along the inside patiently handled until set down spinning just off the inside into upper stretch, came out under a left handed crop and brushed GRACE AND GRIT nearing the eighth pole, then edged clear to the finish to prevail. GRACE AND GRIT got bumped at the start by KYLE'S MOM, who broke outwards, chased three paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three to four wide through the turn coming under encouragement with five-sixteenths to go, spun three wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive latched on the leader and was brushed and very lightly bumped nearing the eighth pole when that rival came out under a left handed crop, kept on under a drive to chase the winner home. RACING COLORS chased just off the inside under a ride from the five-sixteenths marker, angled out seven wide into upper stretch and improved position to secure the show honors in the final jumps. AMY'S LIGHT coaxed from the start, led early on until displaced from command near the six furlong marker, settled three then two wide in closest aim of the leader, came under urging three furlongs out, spun two to thee wide into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. KYLE'S MOM broke out at the start bumping GRACE AND GRIT, chased along the inside under encouragement from the five-sixteenths pole, angled six wide at the top of the stretch and weakened in the drive. VINO FRIZZANTE four then three wide in pursuit, got ridden along with five-sixteenths remaining, cornered four wide at the head of the lane, tired. There was a Jockey's Objection by the rider of GRACE AND GRIT alleging interference by SNIDE in the stretch run. After review, the objection was dismissed and the result was allowed to stand prior to the race being declared official.
