ELEGANT established the front from the get go and showed the way in hand just off the inside patiently handled until roused taking the two path into upper stretch, drew off under a drive to inside the eighth pole, then got geared down in the late stages. CALLING AN AUDIBLE chased along the inside under a ride from three furlongs out, continued in the inside route into upper stretch, proved no match for the top one, kept on to procure the place honors. MOON GATE coaxed from the start, pulled on the bit keen and unhappy along the inside early on before tipping two then three wide with five furlongs to run, went three wide through the turn and then four wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. MOONLIT WEEKEND hustled from the gate, chased four paths off the rail down the backstretch before tucking to the two path through the turn coming under coaxing with seven-sixteenths to run, angled five to six wide into upper stretch and stayed on one paced to the finish. EDISTRUDIS coaxed from the start, chased three wide coming under a long drive with nine-sixteenths to go, tucked to the two path through the turn, went seven to eight wide at the top of the stretch and trailed.
