SCARLET'S DREAM coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand along the inside coming under light coaxing midway on the turn, widened away through to the quarter pole when set down spinning just off the inside into upper stretch, held well and clear under a drive to score. LUCKFORYOU stumbled at the break and was bumped by HEAVENS LEE, chased just off the inside under a ride from three furlongs out, spun three wide into upper stretch and kept on knocking heads with A. P. SLINGSHOT through to the finish and bested that rival for the place honors. A. P. SLINGSHOT five wide in pursuit, came under coaxing at the three-eighths marker, went four to five wide into upper stretch, kept on dueling with the aforementioned foe through the stretch but was ultimately bested for the place honors while safe for the show. MARELOW coaxed from the gate, chased three wide under urging from the seven-sixteenths marker, angled out seven wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild bid. HEAVENS LEE broke out at the start bumping LUCKFORYOU, chased four wide under prolonged encouragement from the half mile pole, angled out seven to eight wide at the head of the stretch, weakened. PURPOSE broke out a step at the start and was corrected, chased just off the inside under a ride from three furlongs out, tipped four wide for home, tired. MOONLIGHT GAL chased along the inside under urging from the three-eighths marker, cornered two to three wide into upper stretch and tired.
