GRAYWING tracked the pace on the outside, made a bid leaving the backstretch, vied in the three path on the turn, took the lead outside the quarter-pole, inched clear while asked for his best in upper stretch, drifted out late and just held under strong urging. TIMAEUS dropped back after the start then moved out, settled off the pace, was urged along late on the backstretch, chased in the three then four path on the turn, was driven into the stretch in the five path, drifted out under a left-handed crop coming to the furlong marker, switched to a right-handed crop outside the sixteenth-pole, pursued the winner into the final sixteenth, drifted out again late and just missed. NABOKOV broke alertly and went straight to the front, showed the way down the backstretch, was asked under threat while inside on the turn, lost the advantage to the winner outside the quarter-pole, dropped back under a drive in upper stretch and was outfinished while able to get the show. SCREAMING UNCLE broke in at the start, settled off the pace, was roused in the two path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the four path under a drive and gained mildly late but missed the show. SIN NOMBRE settled on the outside, was urged along late on the backstretch, went around the turn in the five path, turned into the stretch in the six path and lacked the needed kick while gaining some late. GLINT was off slow then bobbled, spotted the front several lengths, dropped well behind the rest of the field, rounded the turn in the two path and trailed while gaining late.
