NAIVE MELODY coaxed from the gate, chased three then two wide coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths marker, spun three wide into upper stretch, seized command a furlong out, then edged away to the finish to prevail. MAJESTIC RETURN hustled from the gate, showed the way in hand just off the inside and then along the inside patiently handled until roused spinning along the inside route into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was caught a furlong out, ran on to preserve the place honors on the wire. NINA KAY chased three to four paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking inside through the turn, came under urging at the three-eighths pole, swung five then four wide into upper stretch and kicked on belatedly to the finish. HOWLING WIND chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn urged along from three furlongs out, tipped five wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. CAROL T coaxed from the gate, chased four paths off the inside early on, tucked two to three wide through the turn and was ridden along midway, went seven wide into upper stretch, made no impact. CITY BLOCKS raced just off the inside briefly before tipping out six paths off the rail, tucked four wide through the turn before angling six to seven wide into upper stretch and weakened in the final furlong. LADY ANGELINA coaxed from the gate, chased along the inside and then just off the inside before heading back to the rail through the turn, cornered two to three wide into upper stretch, tired.
