TEN CENT TOWN was taken in hand when the leader crossed in front early then rated just off the pace, moved from the rail to the two path early on the turn, was roused late on that bend then shifted to the three path, gained in the four path into the stretch, made a bid just inside the three-sixteenths pole, took the lead outside the sixteenth-pole and just held under strong urging. UNCLE JIM was off slow then slow into stride and spotted the field several lengths, settled at the rear, went around the turn in the three then four path under urging, turned into upper stretch in the six path, rallied outside in the drive and closed well to just miss while narrowly able to get the place. AWESOME EMPIRE was hustled from the gate, moved up under urging to press the pace on the outside, took the lead just inside the seven-sixteenths pole, vied in the two path on the turn, responded well under a drive in upper stretch, lost the advantage outside the sixteenth-pole, fought on to the finish and just missed while able to get the show. CLANCY FANCY tracked the pace on the inside of an opponent, was urged along leaving the backstretch, chased in the three then four path on the turn, pursued the leader in the stretch and finished willingly to get the last spot in the superfecta. MILES AHEAD lost his footing some at the start but broke with the field, dropped off the pace under urging, went around the turn in the two then three path, , turned into upper stretch under a drive, gained in the final furlong, moved closer to the inside late and also finished willingly but missed the superfecta. STEWIE broke awkwardly and was off a bit slow, moved up on the outside then stalked the pace, made a bid in the four then three path on the turn, battled under a drive into the final furlong and tired. LOOMS BOLDLY was hustled to the front then angled in, lost the lead while inside early on the turn, dropped back into the stretch and faded.
