Footnotes
SHARP SPARK was reluctant to load then last into stride, saved ground on the first turn, settled just off the pace while off the inside on the backstretch, was asked into the far turn, chased in the two path going around that bend, shifted to the four path while gaining into the stretch, made a bid outside of the leading duo inside the three-sixteenths pole, drifted out near the furlong marker then took the lead, was given one light pop of a down-turned crop near the sixteenth-pole then drew clear while kept to the task under a confident hand-ride to the finish. HEY TOBY went around the first turn in the two path, stalked the pace on the outside, turned up the pressure on the leader in the three then two path on the far turn, took the advantage just inside the three-eighths pole, battled with HE'S GOT THIS under a drive into upper stretch, fought with that foe into the final furlong, was headed by the winner just inside the eighth-pole and proved no match but earned the place. HE'S GOT THIS raced in the three path on the first turn, settled on the outside, was roused late on the backstretch, chased in the four then three path on the turn, made a bid outside the five-sixteenths pole, turned into upper stretch under a drive, battled with the runner-up into the final furlong, fought with the top two into the final sixteenth and weakened while clear for third purse money. LAUGHING BOY was hustled to the front, showed the way on the inside with an easy lead, was asked under threat early on the far turn, lost the advantage just inside the three-eighths pole, dropped back under strong urging at the quarter-pole and capitulated.
