Footnotes
TIMAEUS settled off the pace, went around the turn in the two path, was roused in the three path into the stretch, gained to make a bid between horses coming to the eighth-pole, dueled with the runner-up in the final furlong and narrowly prevailed under strong urging. SOCIAL HOUR tracked the pace on the outside, was given his cue in the four path on the turn, turned into the stretch under the crop, gained to get the lead outside the eighth-pole, dueled with the winner in the final furlong and was denied while able to get the place. KID BILLY was hustled from the gate, disputed the pace on the inside of a rival, vied along the rail under urging on the turn, dropped back at the quarter-pole, kept on with good courage in the stretch and earned the show. GYPSY DREAMING contested the pace on the outside, vied in the three path on the turn, battled under a drive into the final furlong and was outfinished. SEEKER'S HOPE settled towards the rear, was urged along late on the backstretch, traveled around the turn in the four path, was driven into the stretch in the five path and lacked the needed kick. MO FOR THE KING was well placed down the backstretch, saved ground on the turn, chased under a drive in upper stretch, moved out near the furlong marker and lacked the needed response. GO IRISH dropped back then moved out under urging, rounded the turn in the five path, turned into the stretch in the six path and failed to rally. SINISTER SMILE was hustled from the gate then urged along at the rear on the outside, angled in leaving the backstretch, dropped from the three path to the two path early on the turn and failed to respond.
