TIMAEUS settled off the pace, went around the turn in the two path, was roused in the three path into the stretch, gained to make a bid between horses coming to the eighth-pole, dueled with the runner-up in the final furlong and narrowly prevailed under strong urging. SOCIAL HOUR tracked the pace on the outside, was given his cue in the four path on the turn, turned into the stretch under the crop, gained to get the lead outside the eighth-pole, dueled with the winner in the final furlong and was denied while able to get the place. KID BILLY was hustled from the gate, disputed the pace on the inside of a rival, vied along the rail under urging on the turn, dropped back at the quarter-pole, kept on with good courage in the stretch and earned the show.
