Footnotes
DOUBLE ACT established the front seven furlongs from home and showed the way in hand tucked to the inside, remained patiently handled through sensible splits until roused taking the inside route into upper stretch, edged away to the eighth pole, dug in and held well and clear to the finish. C J STAR shied in at the break from QUIET POWER breaking inwards and bumped UP FOR AN OSCAR, raced three then two wide through the first turn before settling four paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked three wide with seven-sixteenths to go, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths pole, swung four to four wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild kick. QUIET POWER broke in at the start and was corrected, chased just off the inside through the first turn and then three wide thereafter, came under encouragement with five-sixteenths to go, continued three wide at the head of the stretch, kept on to secure the show honors over a rival on the wire. ORGONITE settled just off the inside near the rear of the field, got ridden along with five-sixteenths remaining, took the inside route into upper stretch and kept on to the finish missing for the show honors at the end. PARTY ANIMAL chased along the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, continued in the inside route into upper stretch, weakened. CAPT FLUFF N STUFF brushed the off side stall at the start, raced three then two wide through the first turn, chased just off the inside coming under a ride with five-sixteenths to run, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch and weakened. UP FOR AN OSCAR got bumped in the hind end by C J STAR, saved ground at the tail of the field coming under urging near the quarter pole, went four to five wide into upper stretch, trailed.
