Footnotes
HELEN'S REVENGE was hustled from the gate, moved up under urging then tracked the pace, made a bid at the seven-sixteenths pole, vied in the four path on the turn, took the lead into the lane, remained on her inside lead in upper stretch, drifted in while going clear under a right-handed crop into the final furlong, continued on her inside lead to the finish and proved much the best under steady handling. SUNSHINE LILY brushed with a rival at the start, raced just off the pace, made a bid leaving the backstretch, vied in the three path on the turn, held a narrow advantage late on that bend, was headed by the winner into the stretch and proved no match while clear for the place. CLOUDY CHANCE was hustled to the front then angled in, vied inside of two foes while two path to the inside on the turn, lost the advantage late on that bend, dropped back in upper stretch and weakened but was clear for the show. D'S A ROCK brushed with an opponent at the start, raced just off the pace, chased inside on the turn, moved to the two path outside the quarter-pole, swung out to the five path into the stretch and came up empty. GRACEFUL ROSE broke out at the start, dropped back on the outside then moved in around the five-eighths pole, traveled around the turn in the two path, was driven into the stretch in the three path and was no factor.
