Footnotes
SANDTRAP (IRE) settled tracking the front just off the inside from mid pack, tipped to the three path five-sixteenths from home and came under light coaxing nearing the quarter pole, swung four wide into upper stretch set down for the drive, rallied to take command nearing the eighth pole, drew clear under a drive to prevail. THIENE (IRE) established the front from the get go and showed the way in hand along the inside through sensible splits patiently handled until let out taking the inside route into upper stretch, got collared nearing the eighth pole, proved no match for the top one while keeping on to just preserve the place honors on the wire. SCARLETT'S HALO tracked the pace along the inside patiently handled until roused spinning just off the inside into upper stretch, angled out to the four path three-sixteenths from home, kept on under a drive to just miss for the place honors while never threatening the top one. AGIA MARINA tracked the pace along the inside from a loose pocket, got roused continuing in the inside route into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. TRAIL OF GOLD struck the near side stall at the start, raced just off the inside through the first turn before tipping out three paths off the inside down the backstretch, went three then four wide through the far turn and then five wide for home and weakened in the stretch. POOKIE two to three wide in pursuit from just off the top pair, came under coaxing near the five-sixteenths and bid nearing the quarter pole, continued two to three wide at the head of the stretch, then tired through to the finish. WIDDERSHINS attended the leader to the outside from the two path, came under encouragement with five-sixteenths remaining, got steadied at the quarter pole as SANDTRAP advanced outside and tired through to the end.
