MAX MONEY was well placed just off the pace, saved ground on the turn, was roused while swinging out to the five path into upper stretch, rallied to get the lead outside the sixteenth-pole then drew clear under steady urging. IRISH GOODBYE bobbled at the start but broke with the body of the field, was forwardly placed on the outside, chased in the four path on the turn, made a bid late on that bend, took the lead into upper stretch, drifted out near the furlong marker, was overtaken by the winner outside the sixteenth-pole and proved no match while clear for the place. LORD KING bumped with a rival at the start, showed the way with a clear advantage, was asked while challenged in the two path on the turn, lost the lead into upper stretch and weakened but was clear for the show.
