Footnotes
MAX MONEY was well placed just off the pace, saved ground on the turn, was roused while swinging out to the five path into upper stretch, rallied to get the lead outside the sixteenth-pole then drew clear under steady urging. IRISH GOODBYE bobbled at the start but broke with the body of the field, was forwardly placed on the outside, chased in the four path on the turn, made a bid late on that bend, took the lead into upper stretch, drifted out near the furlong marker, was overtaken by the winner outside the sixteenth-pole and proved no match while clear for the place. LORD KING bumped with a rival at the start, showed the way with a clear advantage, was asked while challenged in the two path on the turn, lost the lead into upper stretch and weakened but was clear for the show. GEORGE'S GOLD leaned inward at the start, settled off the pace, was urged along in the two then three path on the turn, came out to the six path into upper stretch, remained on his inside lead in the drive and lacked the needed response. NORDIC FYRE veered out at the start and was off a bit slow, settled on the outside, was urged along in the three then four path on the turn, turned into upper stretch in the six path and also lacked the needed response. TEUFLESDALE bumped with a rival at the start, was urged along on the outside then dropped back around the nine-sixteenths pole, traveled around the turn in the three to four path and had nothing left. BAKUTO bumped with a rival at the start, moved out outside the five-eighths pole then tracked on the outside, made a bid in the three path on the turn, dropped back between foes into upper stretch then came out and capitulated. PORTADOWN LAD dropped well behind under urging, saved ground on the turn and showed little. VOLATILE SITUATION broke in and bumped with an opponent, was urged along towards the rear, moved from the rail to the three path on the turn, took an awkward stride in upper stretch and was pulled up then transported off the track via equine ambulance.
