Footnotes
SPORTS HERO settled on the outside, dropped from the four path to the three path early on the turn, ranged up with confidence on that bend, was roused in the four path into the stretch, made a bid outside the leader around the three-sixteenths pole then took the advantage, drifted out under a left-handed crop while going clear into the final furlong, switched to a right-handed crop near the sixteenth-pole, swapped back to his inside lead late and proved much the best. ASKED AND ANSWERED ducked out at the start, was urged along on the outside, went around the turn in the four to five path, turned into upper stretch under a drive, came out under a left-handed crop around the furlong marker and finished willingly for the place. COUNTER MOVE pressed the pace on the outside, vied in the three path while on even terms for the lead on the turn, took the advantage late on that bend, was headed by the winner while under a drive in upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and weakened but was clear for the show. NO FILTER was hustled from the gate, moved up to set the pace under pressure to his outside, vied along the rail on the turn, lost the lead late on that bend, dropped back under a drive in upper stretch and tired. STAYFROSTYMYFRIEND was last to commence, raced at the rear under urging, saved ground on the turn, was driven into the stretch in the two path, remained on his inside lead until outside the sixteenth-pole then swapped to the proper lead and failed to threaten. MACH SCHNELL showed speed between foes then was taken back outside the nine-sixteenths pole before moving to the outside, came up empty while racing from the two path to the four path on the turn and faltered then was eased in the stretch but walked off.
