SOUNDS LIKE A PLAN bumped lightly with a rival at the start then went to the front, rounded the first turn in the two path, showed the way with a clear advantage, controlled the action while inside on the far turn, responded well when asked at the quarter-pole and held under strong urging. SPIRIT OF ST LOUIS moved in early, bumped with a foe early on the first turn, was reserved in the two path, came under urging between horses around the five-sixteenths pole, swung out to the four path into upper stretch, pursued the winner on the outside into the final sixteenth and finished with good courage but missed while able to get the place. CABLE READY bumped lightly with a rival at the start then was hustled, rounded the first turn in the three path, stalked the pace on the outside, was asked leaving the backstretch, chased in the three path on the far turn, pursued the winner under a drive in the stretch, kept on willingly to the finish and secured the show.
