UNBROKEN CHAIN angled in while showing speed, contested the pace on the outside then in the three path on the turn, held a short lead while spinning into the stretch in the five path, shook off HIT THE POST into the final furlong and drew clear under steady urging. ELYSIAN MEADOWS was hustled from the gate, dropped back while ridden along, went around the turn in the two path, moved out in upper stretch, angled further out into the final furlong and finished with good energy to garner the place. HIT THE POST showed speed then disputed the pace on the inside of the winner, vied in the two path while asked on the turn, battled under a drive in upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and weakened but was clear for the show. BEARY FUNNY was hustled from the gate, moved out while settling off the pace, was roused while shifting from the four path to the six path on the turn and lacked the needed response while able to get the last spot in the superfecta. SHARED SUCCESS was urged along on the outside, went around the turn in the five path and failed to rally. SHERIFF BIANCO was sent hard from the gate, chased the pace down the backstretch, traveled around the turn in the four path and tired. TRUST FUND was away a bit awkwardly but with the body of the field, chased the pace down the backstretch, moved from the rail to the three path on the turn and came up empty. SANZIO broke out and bumped hard with an opponent, settled off the pace, was urged along in the two then three path on the turn and failed to respond. ROCK THE WEEKEND was ridden along at the rear on the outside, went around the turn in the three then four path and was no factor. THREE B'S bumped hard with a foe at the start, moved out while ridden along towards the back, rounded the turn in the five then four path and also failed to respond.
