MCDIESEL angled in while hustled to the front then showed the way with a clear advantage, was asked while inside on the turn then was challenged, lost the advantage to the runner-up at the top of the stretch, dueled gamely inside of that foe in the drive and narrowly prevailed under strong urging. CALLING CARD raced up close on the outside, chased in the three path early on the turn, made a bid with three furlongs to run, took the lead at the top of the stretch, dueled outside of the winner in the drive and was denied while able to get the place. GEOSTOBLAME brushed with a rival just after the start, showed no speed, angled in while dropping well behind under urging, went around the turn in the two path, remained far back with a quarter-mile to run, angled out in upper stretch and finished fast but was too late while just up for the show. THREE PERCENT was urged along towards the rear, angled from the two path to the five path outside the three-eighths pole then dropped to the four path, was driven into the stretch in the five path, gained with good courage to make a bid late and just missed the show. MIDDLE MARKET broke in at the start, settled under some urging, was ridden along late on the backstretch, saved ground on the turn and gained late but failed to menace. READY SET TWIRL settled off the pace, moved closer outside the five-eighths pole, shifted from the rail to the two path on the turn, was given his cue outside the five-sixteenths pole, chased the leaders while remaining on his inside lead in upper stretch, swapped to the proper lead inside the furlong marker and lacked the needed kick. MOMENT'S NOTICE raced just off the early pace then dropped back with six furlongs to turn, was urged along late on the backstretch, moved from the four path to the three path on the turn, was driven into the stretch in the four path and also lacked the needed kick. SHELLAC brushed with a foe just after the start, tracked the pace down the backstretch, came up empty in the two path on the turn and faltered then was eased in the final furlong but walked off.
