ALZERO was hustled to the front, set the pace under pressure to his outside, vied along the rail while asked on the turn, turned into upper stretch on even terms for the lead, responded well under a right-handed crop into the final furlong and edged clear under steady urging. RICHIES LOVE was carried in early, chased the pace on the outside, made a bid leaving the backstretch, vied in the four path on the turn, battled outside of two foes in upper stretch and was outfinished while just able to get the place. CHRIS'S SONG angled in quickly early and put a few foes in tight, pressed the pace on the outside, drew even with the leader in the three path on the turn, turned into upper stretch on even terms for the lead, battled under a drive to the furlong marker and was outfinished then just missed the place but earned the show. TWENTY ONE RED was bumped on both sides while carried in early, settled off the pace, was urged along in the five path on the turn and lacked the needed kick while up for the last spot in the superfecta. MAJOR BOURBON was carried in early and bumped with a foe then dropped back, was urged along well off the pace, jostled with a foe outside the three-eighths pole, went around most of the turn in the four to five path, shifted to the six path outside the quarter-pole, spun into the stretch in the seven path and failed to threaten. BEAU CHEVAL was well placed just off the pace, chased inside on the turn and came up empty. RYAN'S SHADOW broke out some but was corrected fast by the rider, established a good position just off the pace, chased in the two path on the turn, remained on his inside lead while dropping back in upper stretch, swapped to the proper lead inside the furlong marker and had nothing left. TONY HOOKS was a bit awkward into stride, raced towards the rear, moved from the rail to the two path on the turn and was no factor. EYE ON THE BALL climbed into kickback outside the five-eighths pole, was urged along near the back, jostled with a foe outside the three-eighths pole, traveled around the turn in the three then path, came out to the eight path into the stretch and failed to respond.
