LADY ANGELINA was well placed just off the pace, stalked the leading duo in the two path on the turn, gained to make a bid at the quarter-pole, took the lead in the four path while asked for her best in upper stretch and edged clear under strong urging. THREE NINES FINE went to the front, showed the way under pressure to her outside, vied along the rail on the turn, was asked outside the quarter-pole, lost the advantage in upper stretch, fought with the winner until near the sixteenth-pole then was outfinished while well clear for the place. RARE SOCIETY was hustled from the gate, chased the pace on the outside, went around the turn in the three then four path, was driven into the stretch in the three path and weakened but was clear for the show. PATIENCE N GRACE settled on the outside, was urged along in the four then five path on the turn, turned into upper stretch in the seven path and failed to threaten. NERI bumped with a rival at the start, was urged along on the far outside, moved from the four path to the six path on the turn, turned into upper stretch in the eighth path and was no factor. BODEGAS settled off the pace, steadied in traffic nearing the half-mile pole, was roused in the two path on the turn, moved to the three path outside the quarter-pole, spun into the stretch in the four path and came up empty. RED VELVET CAKE broke out then was hustled, pressed the pace on the outside then in the three path on the turn, floated into the six path into upper stretch and tired. APERITIF was urged along off the pace, traveled around the turn in the two to three path and failed to respond. RED BOOTS was coaxed along on the inside, saved ground on the turn and faltered.
