MASTER FREUD shied in at the start when STORMY BIRTHDAY broke inwards from the outside, chased along the inside from the tail of the field, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and was roused taking the two path into upper stretch as most of the field angled out, took advantage of that moving quickly into contention and seizing command at the three-sixteenths marker, then edged away under a drive kept to task. STORMY BIRTHDAY broke in at the start and was corrected, chased two to three wide, got set down angled seven wide into upper stretch, ran on to chase the winner home and secure the place honors on the wire. BIG TIMER chased three then two wide coming under coaxing three furlongs out, angled seven to eight wide into upper stretch, kicked on belatedly to the finish. VAN VOLLENHOVEN three to four wide in pursuit, came under urging near the quarter pole, angled out nine wide into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. COACH CASE chased just off the inside patiently handled until let out angled seven wide at the head of the stretch offering up a bid, then weakened in the late going. A LISTER coaxed from the start, chased along the inside under urging from the seven-sixteenths, angled five to six wide for home, offered no response. SCARAMANGA coaxed from the gate, dueled from the two path with KING PUCK to his inside, came under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, angled six wide into upper stretch and weakened. NANO MAN broke out at the start, chased five then four wide coming under urging at the five-sixteenths, went ten wide at the head of the stretch, weakened. LOVEMEAKAREN bobbled at the start and was bumped by KING PUCK, who broke inwards, chased four wide under a ride from the three-eighths pole, went nine to ten wide into upper stretch and weakened. KING PUCK broke in at the start bumping the aforementioned foe, dueled inside of SCARAMANGA coming under urging at the five-sixteenths, yielded and went four wide into upper stretch, weakened through to the finish.
