PROUD FOOT was urged along off the pace, stalked the leaders while inside to the two path on the turn, was roused inside the five-sixteenths pole then shifted to the four path, gained to get the lead in the five path around the three-sixteenths pole, shook clear under a drive into the final furlong and held under steady urging. EDISTRUDIS was ridden along on the outside at the rear, went around the turn in the four then five path, chased outside in the drive, gained into the final sixteenth and finished willingly but missed while clear for the place. DEFENDED dropped back then settled off the pace, was urged along in the two path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive, moved out outside the furlong marker and lacked the needed kick while able to get the show. MAJESTIC RETURN pressed the pace on the outside then in the three path on the turn, took the lead outside the five-sixteenths pole, lost the advantage to the winner in upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and weakened. JACKIE THE JOKER went to the front, set the pace under pressure to her outside, dropped from the two path to the inside early on the turn, lost the advantage under urging outside the five-sixteenths pole and tired.
