Footnotes
MASTER OF ARMS bumped with a rival at the start then was hustled, tracked the leading duo on the outside, dropped from the five path to the four path early on the turn, ranged up to make a bid nearing the five-sixteenths pole, took the lead coming to the quarter-pole, spun into upper stretch in the six path, responded well into the final furlong, extended the advantage under urging into the final sixteenth then was eased up late while much the best. GROUCH was hustled from the gate, contested the pace on the outside then in the three path on the turn, turned into upper stretch in the four path, battled with the winner until near the furlong marker then proved no match while clear for the place. CATHEDRAL BEACH broke out and bumped with a foe then bobbled, settled near the middle of the field under some urging, came under stronger encouragement while in the three then four path on the turn and lacked the needed response while best of the rest. BOLD VICTORY broke out at the start, settled towards the rear, was urged along passing the five-eighths pole, raced inside to the two path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the three path then moved further out and failed to threaten. FOR SOME REASON disputed the pace on the inside of a rival, moved from the two path to the inside early on the turn, dropped back into the stretch and tired. GLINT was urged along off the pace, moved from the rail to the two path on the turn and came up empty. INDIANQUEST dropped back on the outside, went around the turn in the four then five path and was no factor. NOBODYRIDESFORFREE settled at the rear, was urged along passing the five-eighths pole, moved from the rail to the three path on the turn, swung out to the six path into the stretch and showed little.
