WHISKEY N SODA raced along the inside through the first turn and then three paths off the rail down the backstretch, tucked inside half a mile from home, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and spun two to three wide into upper stretch seizing command straightened away, then edged clear to the finish kept to task. AWESOME EMPIRE along the inside through the first turn, chased four then three wide under coaxing from three furlongs out, went eight wide into upper stretch, ran on to secure the place honors. FLAT ON coaxed from the gate, raced three then two wide through the first turn, chased four then two wide coming under encouragement at the seven-sixteenths and then taking command at the five-sixteenths marker, swung four wide into upper stretch and was displaced from the front straightened away and kept on to preserve the show honors. BRODERICK coaxed from the start, chased five then four wide coming under a ride at the five-sixteenths, tipped six wide into upper stretch, weakened. FIRST TRUMPET four then three wide through the first turn, dueled in hand five then four wide down the backstretch and then three wide through the far turn, got shaken off three furlongs out, went seven wide into upper stretch, faltered and was eased home to the wire. ALEAH ALEAH coaxed from the gate, dueled inside of FIRST TRUMPET coming under coaxing near the five-sixteenths, yielded the front at that station, took the inside route into upper stretch and folded, then got eased home to the wire and walked off under his own power.
