BROKEALLTHERULES got steadied after the start and made minor contact with FROGHOLLOWSUMMER as that foe crossed directly in front, chased four then three wide coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, rallied to take command at the three-sixteenths marker, dug in under threat to the outside and gamely rebuffed the challenge to the finish. LUPINE chased along the inside coming under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, spun three then two wide into upper stretch, rallied to issue a challenge through the final furlong but was ultimately repelled to the wire while along clear for the place honors. PUREST PERFORMANCE broke awkwardly outwards at the start when the rider broke against his charge's mouth, chased along the inside and then just off the inside coming under a ride at the five-sixteenths, angled four wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick. FIVE DOZEN ROSES three wide in pursuit, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, continued three wide into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. FROGHOLLOWSUMMER got clipped behind just after the start by YOU KNOW BETTER when crossing directly in front of that foe, then forced BROKEALLTHERULES to steady off her heels just afterwards, showed the way in hand along the inside coming under urging at the three-eighths marker, took the inside route into upper stretch, got displaced from command at the three-sixteenths and weakened. YOU KNOW BETTER clipped the back of the aforementioned foe and bobbled heavily just after the start when that rival crossed directly in front and lost three to four lengths of ground before settling into stride, chased three paths off the rail down the backstretch before tucking inside into the turn, went four wide into upper stretch and passed tired rivals. ARGENTIERA chased along the inside coming under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, took the inside route into upper stretch, weakened in the drive. ENDLESS KISS chased just off the inside under a ride from the three-eighths marker, spun three wide for home and made no impact. LADY MERINGUE chased three then two wide under urging from the five-sixteenths, spun two to three wide into upper stretch, tired.
