BOURBON DAY hustled from the gate, raced along the inside latched on the leader through to the one mile marker before easing off to tip outside that rival, went three to four paths off the inside down the backstretch settling in closest aim of the leader, tucked to the two path through the far turn and was patiently handled until set down angled four to five wide into upper stretch, took over command straightened away, drew clear under a drive and was ridden out to the finish. DONEGAL SURGES broke in a step at the start, chased three then two wide coming under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, went six wide into upper stretch, proved no match for the top one while running on to secure the place honors. CERTIFIED LOVERBOY bobbled at the break and came under hustling to show the way in hand just off the inside, tucked inside through the far turn, spun three wide into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. BRAMITO coaxed from the start, chased five then four wide coming under urging at the seven-sixteenths, tipped out six to seven wide into upper stretch, improved position to the finish. EMIRATES ROAD coaxed from the gate, chased just off the inside and then along the inside under a ride from the seven-sixteenths pole, spun two to three wide for home, weakened in the stretch. TOP GUN ROCKET four then three wide in pursuit, got ridden along half a mile from home, went four wide at the head of the stretch, tired.
