Footnotes
SALUTE TO SERVICE set the early pace while being guided to the inside while in hand, was well handled and drew clear by the quarter pole and then drew off under hand urging leaving the turn and was given one reminder right handed and then was ridden out to prove much the best. GOLDEN MIRACLE was away alertly and prompted the winner two wide on the turn and came three wide into the lane and chased the winner to the wire while no match but clearly second best. TAPAROO stalked the pace from the outside and was three wide on the turn, came four wide into the lane but weakened while besting the rest. STARSHIP LIZZY chased the early pace and was four wide on the turn, spun five wide off the bend and weakened. PENCIMA broke a tad outward at the start, settled back early and was two to three wide on the turn and came five wide into the lane but lacked a rally. HUDSON RIVER LINE chased the pace on the inside and saved ground on the turn while being ridden along by the three eighths marker but came up empty. CHOPPIN BROCKLEY was in tight and steadied nearing the five eighths marker on the inside, then settled into stride and moved out to the two path on the turn while being ridden along but never threatened.
