NEW YORK SCRAPPY broke out at the start, raced four wide in aim of the front before advancing to knock heads with FREE SPIN from the nine-sixteenths marker through to the three-eighths pole when taking command, shook away through the latter portion of the turn coaxed along and took the inside route into upper stretch, edged clear under a drive to the eighth pole, dug in growing leg weary late and safely lasted on the wire. FREE SPIN coaxed from the gate, raced forwardly placed and took over command five and a half furlongs from home, dueled with the aforementioned foe from the nine-sixteenths and tucked inside into the turn, got displaced from the front three furlongs out, swung four wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive shaken off to the eighth pole, ran on to come again and close in on the leg weary leader latching on that foe as he hit the finish. FATEFUL LIGHTNING coaxed from the gate, chased five then four wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths pole, went seven wide into upper stretch and kicked on belatedly to the finish. CAT FAST brushed the near side stall at the start, chased just off the inside and then along the inside under coaxing from the three-eighths marker, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and offered up a mild bid. MAGNANIMOUS MAX coaxed from the gate, chased four to five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn under urging from midway, angled six wide into upper stretch, weakened. INTO INSPIRATION coaxed from the start, led early on until displaced from the front five and a half furlongs out, chased three then two wide under encouragement from the seven-sixteenths, went three to four wide into upper stretch and tired. MR R T coaxed from the start, chased along the inside under urging from the five-sixteenths, angled five wide at the head of the stretch, tired.
