ROSWELL settled off the pace, moved out near the nine-sixteenths pole, ranged up in the four path on the turn, made a bid outside the quarter-pole, took the lead outside the furlong marker and prevailed under steady urging. WITH THE ANGELS stalked the pace on the outside, vied in the three path on the turn, took the lead outside the quarter-pole, lost the advantage to the winner outside the furlong marker and was outfinished but held the place. CUPID'S HEART was urged early then settled near the back, went around the turn in the five path while roused and finished willingly for the show. TWIRLING BEAUTY went to the front then showed the way on the inside of a rival, vied along the rail while asked on the turn, lost the advantage outside the quarter-pole and tired. MAGGY'S PALACE was urged along off the pace, dropped back leaving the backstretch, raced inside to the two path on the turn, came well out into upper stretch and failed to respond.
