FOR THE LADIES struck the off side stall at the start, advanced after the break to take command just after the start, showed the way in hand four paths off the rail down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn until tucked to the two path inside the five-sixteenths, continued just off the inside into upper stretch under taps with the crop to the right shoulder, drew off under very light urging and intermittent taps to the right shoulder and prevailed comfortably in hand on the wire. IT'S CAROL'S WAY coaxed from the gate, chased just off the inside down the backstretch and then along the inside through the turn under encouragement from three furlongs out, angled three wide into upper stretch, proved no match for the top one while keeping on to preserve the place honors on the wire. SHE'S ALL CLOVER coaxed from the start, chased six paths off the rail down the backstretch before heading five wide through the turn coming under coaxing at the three-eighths marker, continued six wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild bid. RAGE BAIT coaxed from the gate, chased five then four wide in closest aim of the leader under a ride from midway on the turn, went four wide into upper stretch, weakened in the drive.
