MOE EIGHTY EIGHT bumped with a rival at the start, settled off the pace, gained in the four path on the turn, made a bid in the five path at the quarter-pole, took the lead in upper stretch, kicked clear outside the furlong marker, drew away while kept to the task with a hand-ride into the final sixteenth then was eased up while much the best. CONCORDE SPIRIT was urged along towards the rear, went around the turn in the five then six path and improved to get the place. UNBROKEN CHAIN bumped with a rival at the start, was coaxed along on the outside, made a bid near the seven-sixteenths pole, vied in the four path through the turn and weakened while able to get the show. RESILIENT HERO was ridden along near the back, moved from the three path to the five path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the seven path and improved position without threatening. MOZAMBIQUE bumped with a rival at the start, chased the pace, made a bid late on the backstretch, vied in the three path on the turn and tired. RUN HAPPY PAPPY was urged along towards the front, went around the turn in the two path, was driven into the stretch in the four path and came up empty. FIRST PITCH was fractious behind the gate, raced on the outside under urging, rounded the turn in the five path, spun into the stretch in the six path and failed to threaten.
