Footnotes
HUE showed speed on the inside of a rival then was eased back just off the pace, saved ground on the turn, was asked near the quarter-pole, made a rail bid in upper stretch, took the lead inside the furlong marker and edged clear under strong urging. SASSY PRINCESS was hustled from the gate, chased the pace on the outside, went around the turn in the three to four path, battled outside of two foes under a drive into the final furlong and was out-kicked but finished willingly to get the place. ELEGANT was hustled to the front then showed the way, vied inside to the two path on the turn, was asked inside the five-sixteenths pole, led under a drive into the final furlong then was overtaken by the winner and weakened while able to get the show. HEY COOKIE was hustled from the gate then chased the pace, traveled around the turn in the two then three path, was carried in behind horses in upper stretch, chased into the final furlong, altered out into the final sixteenth and tired. KADENA settled off the pace, was roused near the seven-sixteenths pole, went around the turn in the two then three path, swung into the stretch in the five path and lacked the needed response. LOOKS FIRST broke out at the start, was ridden along at the rear, moved from the rail to the two path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the three path and was no factor.
